Are you a private or public landowner interested in contributing some or all of your land to a mitigation project? Are you contemplating enrolling your property in the WRE (wetland reserve easement) program?
Please contact us so that a WFI Mitigation representative can perform a non-invasive site evaluation to determine whether your land would be a good candidate for a mitigation banking project .
We are looking for tillable farmland that has any of the following attributes:
- Frequently flooded
- “Bottomland”
- Creek or stream
- Adjacent to other conservation or recreation
- Existing CRP (grasses) preferably very early or late in the existing contract(s)
- WRE characteristics
